Hello... a little about me...

A certified master business coach, NLP practitioner and managing director, my speciality and passion is coaching business owners with a particular emphasis on marketing, sales, team development and systems. My mission is simple and its to…  

Empower business owners to achieve & exceed their business and personal aspirations.

Prior to establishing my business I developed a highly successful management & business development career within the financial services sector, working for mainstream banking organisations including Halifax & HSBC.

I held a senior management position with Barclay Berry Birch and was responsible for the organisations financial services divisions based in Wales and SE London. This included recruitment, team development, client acquisition and compliance standards. I built a excellent reputation for managing, coaching and training teams and individuals to achieve excellent  results. 

A significant part of my role was forging many successful joint working initiatives with major financial service providers and leading law firms. During which time I developed a first hand insight into how law firms operate, and so I specialised in this field, organising and structuring the working format, including meeting compliance and regulatory needs.

Training solicitors on how to strengthen client relationship and at the same time increase the profitability of their law firm formed a large part of this development, with the need to work with multiple partners in each firm.

I have an extensive knowledge of personal and business development, sales, sales management and leadership and  qualified at advanced financial planning consultant and have an in depth knowledge of personal and corporate financial planning, qualified at advanced level  in supervision and financial services compliance, training and regulation.

I have been told (not by my mother!) I am a first class public speaker, and my style is motivational, direct, clear and humorous. I  create and organise regular business development seminars, workshops and coaching forums designed specifically for entrepreneurs and business owners!

During the course of my career I met many business owners, a large portion of which were overwhelmed with the demands of running a business and the opportunity  to provide a support structure into this market via coaching, mentoring and training was clear.  So during a successful 25 year corporate career decided leave to be the “master of my own destiny.”

I am enthusiastic, caring,  yet adopt a no nonsense approach and understand the importance of accountability, responsibility and honesty, and have amassed in excess of 5000 hours coaching business owners and leaders on a one on one basis. 

Clients have experienced significant profit growth, simpler management of their business, improved their team cohesion and output, systematised their businesses and are more in control with highly developed vision.

My personal interests are financial markets including currencies and indices,  self development, I am a graduate of many personal development courses and include teachings on MINDSET and the Law of attraction as part of my client coaching portfolio.  I pretend to  have a natural ability as an artist.   My wife and business partner Susan has a key role in the business and takes responsibility for the management, accounting and legal administration.

Susan has many responsibilities with Puregain Ltd.  She is responsible for all legal issues as company secretary.  She is Operations and administrations manager and organises all workshops,  special events, retreats and employee training events.

Susan spent the majority of her career in the financial services sector in a business development and management role for building societies, dealing with law firms, and Investors. She has a wealth of experience in planning, organising and running a business and is a key player in all of Puregain decisions. She has attended many personal and business development courses and is well read on these topics.

Her interests include antiques, interior design and cookery.  She is currently amassing her delicious recipes with the goal of publishing her first cookery book.
